FAQ
THE LEATHER IS CHANGING. IS THAT NORMAL?
It is the point. Vegetable-tanned leather darkens where hands return. Patina is not damage; it is evidence of life. Built to change well.
HOW DO I CARE FOR THE OBJECT?
Keep it dry. Let it breathe. Feed the leather with a neutral balm twice a year. Avoid plastic covers — leather remembers what it touches.
CAN IT BE REPAIRED?
Yes. Repair is part of ownership. Write to the house with the archive code and a photograph, and the object returns home for its work.
WHERE ARE THE OBJECTS MADE?
Cairo, Egypt. 30.0444° N · 31.2357° E. Stated as fact.
AN OBJECT I WANT IS GONE.
Nothing is discontinued. Rooms close, and objects enter the archive. Some return. The archive remembers everything the house creates.
